Controller Unlocker Web Service Exception ??

First time using my HPTuners MPVI Pro. My remote tuner wants me to email him a copy of the existing tune which I had someone else setup locally.. I can read Info from the vehicle no problem but the moment I click the read button. A few seconds and I get FAILED and that message regarding Controller Unlocker - Web Service - Exception

I have searched the net for this issue and not having any luck finding a solution.

FWIW I did put in a Contact Request ticket about this. Hopefully someone from HPTuners can verify if it's something on their end. Wow that would be nice. As a first time user of this device I thought oh great let's not start off like this. lol..

i have done 10+ 2017 vette and camaro with no issues, today it gave me the web service exception error. even with the latest hptuners software, what does it mean? i have a car stuck on the dyno now

Hey Josh, do you have another vehicle to try it on just for the heck of it to rule out anything weird going on with the one you're getting that error on? I hope to hear back on my support case soon!. I sent them my logs, etc.

i just tried another 17' same error code, def not a problem on our end

Ahh well I suppose if there had to be an issue im kinda glad its not something fouled up on our end. Hopefully they'll straighten it out soon.

I had the same problem on a 2017 GS, generate a ticket and Corey will provide a manual key.....

I just thought i'd give it another shot. was really hoping I could get things going today but guess that's not going to happen.

Similar error but this time it says Controller Unlocker - Web Exception - Not Success.

it always occurs right after it attempts to contact HPTuners...
