    Invalid check sum

I bought a 2002 SS tonight. It is stock and the owner said that nothing has been done to the car. I was going to pull the file and tune out the skip shift. When I was trying to read the file, it will go to 58% then gives an invalid checksum error. What could cause this and how do I fix it? Thanks

Maybe someone will have better answers or suggestions than this but does it have an aftermarket radio (unhook if it does) and have you tried it with high speed mode turned off?

Are you running the latest 3.6 software too?

Worst case is that ecm was previously tuned & the checksums modified from stock and now won't work.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Is there any way I can just reflash to a stock 02 file? I just updated to 3.6 a couple of minutes ago, so I'll try it again. The car has the stock monsoon radio. Yes, I unchecked the high speed and it gave me the same results.
