Thanks, haven't got it to work yet, I'll take another look at 'er, just read the instructions again. Is there any indicator when it's recording, or just when it's almost full?

I can only assume the 1 bar MAF custom RTT OS is a separate charge on top of yours and is the reason why it says unlicensed which means you havent purchased the license for 1 bar MAF custom RTT OS yet.
Exactly, that's what I was thinking. However, 2 points here:

#1, as I said above, I can still apply "1 Bar MAF - Enhanced" to the available OSs that support RTT, even tho it says unlicensed. So is this a glitch?

#2, the release notes specifically state:

If you are already a HP Tuners customer running an HP Tuners 1,2 or 3 bar Speed Density enhancement, Real Time Tuning is a FREE upgrade!!!
Which I have unlimited support for 1, 2, and 3 bar SD. It makes absolutely zero mention of having to pay for RTT with "1 Bar MAF -Enhanced", which makes this a lil bit confusing.

    Kind Regards,

    James

again maf enhancement vs SD enhancement...the maf enhancement just takes the stock OS & makes it compatible with RTT...you can re apply the custom 1 bar SD OS's you've done & make them ALL RTT free of charge...if you want to take that SD car & change it back to maf RTT there would be a fee...at least thats what im understanding, maybe one of the hpt guys will chime in to correct me if im wrong.

Can I ask how you guys find these new features, is it like the Matrix where all you see are 1s and 0s and you slowly unlock the secrets in the PCM discovering new parameters everday?

Added - Real Time Tuning (RTT) added to many 99-03 GM Gen3 V8 VCM Enhancements.

I assume plans are to include 04+ VCMs like mine (04 Silvy)?

as per the help file http://www.hptuners.com/help/vcm_editor_rtt_using.htm "Step 4. Understanding the Real Time Tuning Auto Tune
Auto tune is currently disabled and will be available in the next release of VCM Suite."

and I dont think its just for VE...i believe it will be for all.

You do NOT need an MPVI interface to use RTT. RTT is an addition to our VCM Enhancements, NOT the interfaces.
How do I verify whether or not I need to buy a license upgrade for my HPTuners Pro (Serial) in order to get RTT???

***UPDATE*** Ah... That was a easy test... tried to write RTT OS and it failed at the License check....

OK, guess I am buying a single credit...

    Thanks,

Serial interface users do not use the credit system, only MPVI interface users do.

Please e-mail sales for information on how to add licenses to serial interfaces.
