-Any harm running a 6l80e with 6l90e tune?

I'm prob going to use a vette os 6l90e? for tap shift, will that be an issue running a 6l80e from a 2010 Silverado? What's the difference between the two? I'll also be using newer vette os with a 2010 Camaro 6l90e. Any issues doing that?

I'd rather use a truck trans os for both applications, but can I enable tap shift direct to the tcm? Like the vette has? Will efi switch work? Has anyone tried a truck os, with efi Tap shift turned on?

From what I understand, the 6L80e needs adapt settings turned on because running too quick of a shift can cause internal damage, also known as "trans brake" syndrome. Otherwise I'm not sure. If the TCM takes the OS, other than forcing the clutches to shift "too soon" ie. below .250 second, everything else should work fine. So maybe take it easy on the ongoing pressure preset settings.
