2016 silverado 5.3L 6 spd, wondering if anyone can help with the following questions:

  1. what is the difference in setting the downshift speed to 1 mph below the upshift table value vs the 5-10 mph as some have suggested?
  2. Does setting it close to the upshift value help the trans response time shifting to a lower gear while cruising at 45 mph for example and you step on the throttle to downshift?
  3. What shift table is used when the transmission selector is in manual (M) and you have used the button to increase to M4 or M5 or M6,..etc? This shifting pattern seems to be a nice blend of performance and smoothness I would like to copy it over to the normal if possible.
  4. What does setting the shift table to zero values do for shift smoothness if anything, or does it just allow the trans to use shift rpm and pressure to upshift? this table is in the cruise table underneath TUTD

thanks for any help
