    16 camaro tune issues

I'm still working with the tuner to make this right but it doesnt seem to be getting better with any of the changes being made so im looking for an additional set of eyes to give some feedback on whats going on here.

16 camaro with longtubes and an ecs kit ngk 6510 plugs gapped to .30

When I got the car back in my hands i gave it some WOT pulls and notices the power felt like it was reducing and picking back up through the pull. Logged the spark adv and noticed it was jumping back and forth between 9-15 degrees. Looked to be related to the torque tables. Tables were adjusted. I ran it and felt that it was better but i was still seeing some kr and it started breaking up during pulls on the top end. Im losing confidence in the tune as the car itself has a pretty common setup with the ecs kit and longtubes, most others dont seem to be running into these issues. I feel like the only variable here is the tune.

Ive edited my torque tables before with HP tuners and have noticed sometimes it will solve them wrong. Then if you look at the coefficients some of them will be all over the place and discontinuous. If you go back and re-open the tune and have it re solve them it will fix it. When this happends timing will be all over the place as it tried to control a torque model that doesn't make sense. For some reason your ctz file won't open on my efilive.

Sent you an email. Also if anyone is interested i was able to get hold of an hptuners cable and pull it in the file in hpt format.

Did you try just re-calculating coefficients and re-flashing again?

I personally have not tried anything as i do not have active efi live or hptuners setup. I brought it to the local tuner to dial it in. I do trust his ability with tuning but these direct injection engines seem to be giving many tuners some headaches so i was just looking for someone to take a look at this file and see if its even in the ball park of where it should be. When I compare it to other tunes it seems to be much different despite the cars im comparing to having the same setups/same engines..

    Heres the HPT file

I hate to keep bumping this but I know there are some very knowledgeable people on this form that could provide me with insight on this tune. It doesn't feel right. I believe the tuner is going about this the way he would tune an ls vehicle but the majority opinion on these forums seem to suggest that the same logic can not be applied to an lt1. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Try logging Torque Management Advance and see if that is kicking in every time you feel the power go in and out.

Fair enough but I was more concerned with if anything looked out of the ordinary in the tune

I sent you a PM last week. Quite a few things need to be addressed with the tune, and a couple hardware changes are needed.

As of now the feedback I've gotten was that some hardware changes will benefit this setup and fueling could use some cleaning up. My concerns with the tune are is anything touched that shouldn't have been and is anything not touched that should have been. I'd love to learn for myself but it doesn't seem like something you just pick up overnight so I'm really looking forward to more feedback on this tune from those with experience. If all is good with it than I guess my concerns with the tuners ability on lt1's are all in my head and I should go back to him to allow him to clean it up.

On centrifugal supercharged or turbo applications, you will need to breakout the baro sensor from the maf. You will also want to use a map sensor that will read boost. LS9 or LT4 sensors are recommended.

I built my own baro breakout harnes with this same ecs kit. Just making sure I had not missed anything. Thanks
