So we have a 2006 300 SRT that we swapped a TH400 into. I know its been done before but trying to figure out a way to get this thing to start. Switched the transmission in the TCM tune to manual. have the P/N switch grounded. Still no crank. What are we missing here.
I'd like to know more about this as well since I've been eying up a 4L80E swap in the future.
I looked through the 2006 LX service manual and only saw the P/N switch you mentioned.
By "no crank" I'm assuming there not even starter engagement let alone engine firing.
have you tried to manually engage the starter relay?
the Ram trucks Just ground the starter circuit to your p/n/r plug....not sure if it's the same wiring circuit....not sure what else to add.
My niece's late boyfriend swapped a Small block 727 in to his 05 Magnum, I wish I know how he made that work.
