Question: Do I need to send in the TCM that's 1) married to my vehicle or 2) can I buy one off the shelf, send that in and then swap out when I get it back?

    Email support about this one.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Licensing is done on the cable, not the vehicle. So if you are using a different cable, then yes, you have to pay to license everything again

I undersant the licensing goes with the cable, but this has the special TCM already unlocked. I'm curious if ill have to pay the 200 to unlock it aswell

yes of course. the special unlock process only makes it license-able. after that it is like any other ecm or tcm. has to be licensed on the cable being used.

It will cost you 8 credits to license both the ECM and TCM. You will just not have to send out the TCM again and pay that unlocking fee.
