I have an 09 g8 cam, headers, full exhaust, milled heads and wanted to step it up a little bit so I threw on a set of id850s. I?m new to tuning so how much adjusting does it take to get them right?

half flow rate, double stoich, half ivt should get you close to where you need to be
Don't forget to change your Chart and Graph parameters as you won't be able to use the pre-defined math anymore for commanded AFR (or tune in Lambda :-)) and the Error math have to be recreated in Math user defined.
Attached are two examples..

I wouldn't scale anything on a 09 G8 with ID850s. You have a 127 lb/hr limit in the IFR table. There will only be a few cells in the IFR table that will exceed the limit and you won't be ever using those cells anyway. Here is a stock 09 G8 file with ID850 data.09G8_ID850.hpt

Also I have zl1 fuel pump, wondering if the injectors are worth it
Depends if you need them or not. What is your fuel pressure and injector duty cycle at the highest rpm you turn with the stock parts?
only 09.5 G8s have the 127 lb limit i believe. I just did injectors last night in my g8 and currently tuning as i have 90#.
That must be correct. I have 6 09 G8 files and the first one I opened had the 127 lb limit so I assumed they all had it. I just checked the other 5 files and they all had the 63 lb limit. But with the OP heads/cam/exhaust mods I doubt there is really any need to even up size the stock 42 lb injectors or fuel pump. Sounds like he is just adding ID850s thinking it is going to gain something or "step it up".
Reason being is I?m adding nitrous to my setup with a blower next year
Can anyone look at my tune and take a look?
Did you post your tune?
2000 Camaro SS 2015 L83 port injected, Whipple 3.0, 4L80E, 8.8 Ford
2013 Silverado 5.3, 6L80k 8.8
my tune after injector swap
No that's not correct. You need to do what you were told in posts # 2 and 3.
yeah thats the problem im having, trying to figure out how to do so
Do you not know how to multiply and divide? Copy the IFR table and stoich table from this file into yours.
Alright, copied ifr table and doubled stoich table, what is ivt? i uploaded and tested, car barely stayed running and threw code p1400. was running really lean according to my wideband. What did i do wrong?
Copy EVERYTHING 2xLS1 has under Flow Rate including Min Injector Pulse into your tune. IVT Terms is directly across from Flow Rate---open AFR Term and make the numbers 3.96 or half the 7.92. Only the one AFR TERM not the other one.
You will now need to tune in Lambda so your wideband setup needs to change in Channels and Charts.

Thanks guys, that worked. Only off 5% at idle, now to tune in lambda. Wish me luck 😟
