    Data logging spikes

    Hey all,

I have just started using HPTuners to tune my dodge diesel. When I first scanned the engine before flashing a tune on it, the data logging was clean with only a weird spike at the beginning and end that I assumed was normal. After writing the tune to the vehicle, every time I data log I get these spikes all over the data that makes it almost unreadable. I am attaching images of the stock before flash log and the post flash log. Thanksinitial scan.PNGscanning spikes.PNG

I had a similar issue with an 05 Magnum using 3.7.7xx Beta Scanner. I was not able to test subsequent versions of 3.7, but 3.6.26 was clean. I would happen randomly with nearly all of the data being logged. I can upload a scan later today, if desired.

Originally I was thinking I had an electrical issue with the car, but I suspect now it was a scanner issue. I was also having trouble with it polling for all available parameters.

I had thought that maybe it was a voltage draw issue, so I double checked that all accessories were off and that the laptop was not charging off the truck but it did not help.

The other issue is that there is no way to write calibration only in the 3.6.26 version of the tuning software
