Hi, I'm looking to possibly use the stock oil sensor for another purpose- I'd like to wire the sensor leads to a resistor and a switch, so that I'm able to switch on? high oil temp mode, for the purposes of a pit speed limiter (max RPM of "x"). I currently run the sensor unplugged and have an aftermarket sensor running to my data logging system and dash, so I?m not worried about high oil temperatures.

My questions are:

it seems like "Oil Overtemp Max" is the value I should set at my rev limiter, or at least higher than my pit speed in 1st gear?
Enable RPM- is this an RPM limiter? How does it interact with Enable TPS? Does TPS need to be greater than 63.54% to be enabled?
Enable Load- also, how does this interact?
Red Enable Oil Temp- I assume this is the temp in which the above variables get put into play? And as soon as the switch is opened, the PCM will consider the oil temp condition not met?

thanks!
