    Missfire at 2800

Tuning 2003 5.9 everything working fine but as soon as I raise 7664/7665/7666 start to miss fire at 2800 at 80% and over on throttle. When pass that RPM range pull good. Did a 2005 never have that issue look like there's a limiter at 2800 that we don't have access rail pressure good quantity good and no master correction message any one did have that issue

Compare file from 2005 and 2003 is there a reason that for 2003 there's no airflow an trans file or that the base file that hp tuner is wrong?

    Review your total timing (pilot+main)

There's no table that defined total timing in a 2003 and something is that the pilot is no longer active in that RPM range ???

The transmission parameters are not included in the ECM of the 2003 trucks. It seems they (or at least some) have a separate JTEC PCM/TCM mounted on the passenger side firewall that is in charge of controlling the transmission parameters.

As for airflow tables not being included in the 2003 PCM, it's more likely that it is not in the operating system than a simple oversight on HP Tuners part.

For what it's worth, however, I haven't seen any pros/cons of having and adjusting said airflow table on my '05.

Theres no limiter that you dont have access to. Check rail pressure, back off pre injection, double check timing. Theres nothing that is stopping you that you cant fix.

I would start with logging all your fuel limiters and max fuel commanded, also log timing. See what its doing.

My 03 with stock governor settings will full fuel past 2800 no prob. I had been messing with settings prior and it was limiting my fuel though.

Post your file and a good log.

I'd be willing to bet that pilot is still firing even though you think you have it disabled. The 03's think a bit differently than later model CR.
