hello to all,
we've some customer that claims a problem with their brand new Camaro.
We tried at least 4 different vehicles and all have the very same behaviour, regardles of being brand new or with few thousand km on the clock.
you put the automatic 8 speed transmission in manual, select 3rd gear, you accelerate above 3.500 rpm, then you lift the throttle pedal and let the engine speed go down to 2200-2400....
when you are in this range (2200/2400 RPM) and you press again the accelerator pedal (slowly or hardly, does not matter), you've ZERO response, the engine start to pick up revs very but very slowly... when you go out the 2400/2500 RPM and above the engine kick out full power... and the cars runs.
it is very dangerous becouse often on the roundabout you think to accelerate and quickly go out of the intersection and you're trapped with the car don't moving don't responding to the accelerator...
FYI no DTC, both K20 Engine and K71 Transmission are already up to date, and already replaced the air filter housing and MAF sensor... no way nothink changed...
any idea?
thank you so much guys!
best regards
