Depends on what kind of transbrake you're using.
The idea behind pretty much any transbrake is to bind the transmission with an extra clutch it doesnt need for a given gear, and release that clutch into the gear you want.
You'd have to have the trans in a state that is 2nd gear + 1 extra clutch.
Depending on what transbrake you're putting in, this could be as simple as having the transbrake control one of the other solenoids..
I.e., you manually shift into 2nd at the line, and your transbrake engages another one of clutches that lets it bind the transmission. You release the transbrake, that gear releases and you're off in 2nd gear.
Is there a way to lockout 1st gear in the tune?
Ive never tried on a 6R80, but you could try setting all the 1st->2nd gear shifts at 0 RPM, 0 MPH, and make 2->1 never occur.Originally Posted by Turbomustang93
Most controllers are smart enough to basically lockout 1st then. I've done this on other controllers with success, but never anything controlling 6R80
