The radiator coolant temp sensor. I found in the scanner and it read 32*all the time so I'm not sure if there need to be a temp sensor hooked up somewhere.i look up the wiring and check it out

it should just work of the coolant temp sensor which is reading fine, not sure why none of the fan pids are doing anything very odd but i guess that's why is not turning them on, that desired % pid needs to work, if does need an extra sensor then there might be am input in ecu could even test it with a resistor if u know what range it works in and usually is just a 5v reference thru resistance to input and see if those fan pids work or even use a 50k trimpot so u can adjust it see if it changes

not sure could even be just in the data from the ect sensor, may be easier to fit a separate fan controller to run it with its own sensor, maby yours being mechanical in the beginning has something missing unless there is a slave segment swap u can do for it

Ever make any progress on this?

I know the 2016 Suburban 3500 with 6.0 has efans, and same ecm p/n (e78) , but there isn't a stock tune in the repository.

Bringing this back up. I'm trying to add e-fans to a 2012 2500HD and I haven't found one success story for anyone using the E78 ECM.
