Spark/Retard - Static Retard vs Cylinder

    Hi Team.

    LS7 (C6 Z06 2008 E38)

In the editor under Spark/Retard there is a table for retarding ignition timing per cylinder = Static Retard vs Cylinder

The cylinders table is set up as below:

    #0
    #1
    #2
    #3
    #4
    #5
    #6
    #7

So I asked Hp-tuners which of above is cylinder 8. And they do not know. Do you guys know?

    Merry Xmas!

I thought I had read long ago that it's based off the firing order.

0 is the first cylinder that fires and then it just runs down the list to 7. Don't quote me here though as I've never bothered to try and tune that on a E38.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Yes I have the same guess as you. But can some one confirm?

Wouldn't be hard to figure out.
crank up the retard on one cylinder to the Max and check with an infra rwd thermometer the header temps.
