new HP tuners wont work

need help, just bought and loaded HP tuners pro with GM credits from summit racing, came with a flash drive to install program, loaded onto new hp laptop (going to use for programing only) running windows 10, every thing appeared to go right entered in application key and serial number, after every thing was done tried to hook up to my 09 Silverado it did a read showed vin and E38 ECM T43 TCM and FSCM B read all three took about 2min there was some different things going on during this time on dash and door locks but when done it went to the sample program files and that was that, so I went under help tab license information and there are three tabs paid licenses, free license, and license upgrade paths but nothing under them no credits or type of credits nothing blank I need help what is wrong?

VCM Suite infolog should show your licenses, also help-license information-paid licenses will show your licenses.

I logged in on HP tuners home page and it shows I should have 8 GM credits but it will not show up under help license information when open program nothing shows up there but the three tabs I mentioned before and it will not give me any options to use credits or anything after reading my truck

found VCM suit log info, if click on blue icon inside all the print it shows I have 8 credits this does not show up under help- license information- paid credits nothing there at all not how many what kind or anything else its blank

sounds like you didn't license anything if it still says you have 8 available credits.

this is what IM trying to tell you this is not showing up its not an option, I have looked at tutorials on how to license and check credits and it is not showing up on mine

when you read your module, take it and save as it under a new name.

I was finally able to work threw it with a little help, most of the problem I think is because all the tutorials are for older versions but with some trial and error and some help from a friend was able to get it all done, thanks

I know this is old...but I had the same issue and found the resolution. As soon as you try to write the file to the vehicle, the license prompt appears. Then it tells you how many credits are required and how many you have. Answer some prompts and away you go. now when I check help/license information...the 2 credits i used are there.

I think the issue the guy was having was that the licence box wasn't coming up. I'm interested in how he solved this one

But then Bill said that a license prompt should appear when saving and he replied that "this is not showing up".
