I've got a 2014 ram 5.7, FBO, 200 shot, race fuel, spraying through the shifts. 570whp/600+wtq. Stock 8hp70.

I've run into a problem where at full power, the trans seems to be unlocking and relocking the converter clutch randomly during a WOT pull in 4th-6th gears. At lower power levels(turn nitrous down) this isn't an issue.

My question is regarding the "TCC limit" value and the related "TCC max torque" values. From what I see on the GM explanations(can't find anything for the 8HP) , you must disable TCC limit to have the TCM use your modified max torque values. My reasoning is that I've exceeded this stock value(516lb/ft stock), so perhaps raising it would get the converter to remain locked during a pass.

Has anyone modified these values on a stock converter without a failure?
