I think it's a feature that cuts fuel or spark or etc, under certain conditions, like when you launch or heavy brake, or high G turn, and all the oil rushes to one direction in the pan, which could cause a momentary loss of pressure. I've never experienced this. Some tuners disable this. I left mine on

Any idea what sensors are required for it to work? How it works? For example, is it via a G-meter somewhere in the car, or via the oil pressure sensor, or....? If its really to affect when oil pressure goes low, why would you ever turn it off? At the very least its telling you to do something about your oiling problem if thats the case?

I seem to remember reading somewhere that on LS1's at least it protects engine by cutting either fuel supply or spark at idle if oil pressure under 8psi. Not sure if pressure scales upwards as rpm increases.

ive only seen that enabled on the LSA tunes, mine has it disabled and im leaving it that way, i also have my low oil warning pressure increased so if anything does happen i have a early notice, waiting for it to be basicly out of oil before warning is too late

Any more info on this? I have a customer car which is a competition drift car with an LS3 crate engine. The default setting is "disabled" however it would be nice to have this feature for a safety. The ECU is seeing oil pressure. Anybody know what parameters need to be satisfied to trigger this feature?
