The ESM switch mentioned above is essentially a vacuum switch that closes at a very slight vacuum, as in a few inches of water. The purge solenoid uses the relatively high vacuum in the intake manifold at part throttle to pull a slight vacuum on the fuel tank and evap canister which closes the ESM switch, then the PCM closes the purge solenoid with an expectation that it will hold vacuum (ESM switch staying closed) for some time period -- If not, there's a large leak. Can't quite see how adding a pipe to the brake booster hose would affect how this works.
Swapped the pump, fuel was leaking from the top seal on the pump plus the pump was weak. Now, no more CE light or codes. On the jeep, I have reduced the 1.5" cylinder down to 9" and it works better then with it any longer then that. I suspect a tad bit shorter might still be an improvement but have not changed it yet.

Hi! I'm very new to this but I upgraded my 2008 JK 2dr manual to 4.88 gears and 35" tires which got me looking for a tuner to make the appropriate adjustments which then got me looking for a good tune. I ordered a Diablosport inTune i3 platinum to do the update. I then found your post when searching for a tune. I'm hoping this thread is still active. This tune sounds like what I'm looking for but I don't really know what I'm doing. Aside from what I already mentioned, I have a cold air intake with throttle body spacer and an of road exhaust. I live in St George UT so the temps can get quite high as well as the elevation. Can someone confirm this would be a good tune for me and if so, how to use it? Also, I don't seem to be able to click on any attached file in your original post. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
