ZF8HP90 Gone missing while flasing tune

Hell Cat Challenger 2015 8HP90
using the 3.7.6 BETA

same car got flashed last week with no issue at all
wanted to do a fine adjustments last night

noticed first it took only 30 second to flash the tune while it supposed to take like 2 minutes also the erase line shows no progress and it switch to writing file ,

the gear knob keep flashing red , car wont start and wont shut down as it says car not on PARK had to remove battery cable .

looks like car cant recognize the trans ecu any more not sure what got damaged but this scary as I don't want this to happen to other 8 speed equipped cars .

any one had the same issue ?

am thinking that agency put back the car to zero might fix it ?

any ideas

Very little info on here about these trans. Have you tried going back to the older beta version you did the read with and re-flashing it?

Had these EXACT symptoms a couple months ago. I was out driving and parked the car. About an hour later, went to start the car and it said the vehicle was not in park and got a service shifter message, but the car was definitely in park. Could not turn the ignition off without pulling the battery. Ended up towing the car into the dealership and TCM was shorted out. Had to replace the entire valve body.
