The delay settings are how long it mechanically takes for the injector to fire. As such, the colder and less pressure cause the injector to fire slower.Originally Posted by qwkvert
The part I don't completely understand is when the delay is applied. On gas engines its usually figured into the injector offset based on voltage, applying the ms delay to the end of the injection cycle to make up for the lost time it took to actually begin firing. I would expect the same thing on diesel.
