Licensing issue - Read ECM and TCM Separately

As the title implies, I read the ECM and TCM separately, so I have 2 .hpt files - one for each.

I licensed the ECM file with 2 credits, assuming the TCM would also get licensed.

I now understand that I should have read the ECM+TCM at the same time, and then licensed that one .hpt file.

Can the mods merge my TCM data into my already licensed ECM file??
...I don't feel I should need to use 2 more credits just to license the TCM.

Needless to say I won't make this mistake again....Thanks

We can't merge files, simply do a read entire and read both at the same time.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Reading entire now shouldnt require additional credits UNLESS it also reads a fcm.
I have a burrito in my colon, yet refried beans come out...
How i know it's from the same meal? I didn't ingest corn any other time.

GMC Envoy with E40, the tune is in there.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Its asking you to license both the tcm and the ecm? if the FSCM is showing up to read on the prompt click do not read you shouldnt have to modify the FSCM if you arent using forced induction. Any gm car/truck ive read with seperate ecm and tcm it reads them both the same time and combines them automaticaly.

i have the same problem. the first time i read the ecm it didn't read tcm at the same time. i just happened to read the truck to see what tune it had in it and it decided to read the tcm this time now it wants me to license the truck again. Did you figure out what to do with out wasting 2 more credits?

read the ecm & tcm at the same time. Most TCM's won't require credits if you read both at the same time.

yes i didn't read both at the same time. I read them separatly (bench harness) so I ended up with 2 HPT files.
I was simply wondering if the mods could merge the files for me, but I guess not...

Unfortunately not possible, you would need to read them together.
