    PCM unlocking

So another software provider has just released PCM unlocking capability incorporated in their latest Beta.
With the number of Hpt users locking up their crap tunes I wonder if we can expect this luxury in time to come?

PS- I don?t lock my tune files unless requested to do so.

Why any company would want to chew off their own arm is beyond me.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I?m not sure what you mean Bill.
PCM locking is the biggest downside to the Hpt software. It?s generally used by those who feel the need to hide their incapabilitys and laziness.

I have no desire to read locked PCMs, it would just be nice to be able to get them back to stock a little quicker and easier than the current process.

the customer should not have to buy another module if they upgraded or changed out parts that now requires a retune that another contracted tuner may only be capable of all because the original contracted services decided to lock the tune.
I have a burrito in my colon, yet refried beans come out...
How i know it's from the same meal? I didn't ingest corn any other time.

Yep, It doesn't always come to that but occasionly it's the only option.
