does shift time actually do anything?

It seems like a feature set aside for adaption.

Doesn't pressure by itself control overall shift "time"?

I looked at some other 4l80e tune files and some have zeros for shift time.

shift time is the desired time it should shift the pressure controls it but it should adjust the pressure to try and hit that desired shift time since its adaptive it should actually learn and use data from past shifts to try and predict how much pressure and when

So then here is my next question. When my trans shifts, it shifts plenty fast. You know, 0.2 seconds or something, shift kit style.

However the scanner shows a shift time error of like 5seconds. The maximum.

If I left adaptive shift "on" it would keep adding pressure because it isn't reporting the correct shift time error I believe.

    Any idea why this is?
