    Need help with 2005 Corvette E40

    Hello, I'm about as an inexperienced programmer as there is and have been fiddling with my tune that a shop did a few months back. I am running the ACDelco MAP Sensor 12615136 but the tuner did not install the speed density OS when he tuned the car. So I decided to go ahead and install the OS that showed available which was "Speed Density - 2 BAR OS 1250161". Immediately after upgrading on first start wideband showed car running lean. I used the instructions on this site to force the computer into speed density mode and was able to get the wideband reading back down and did some driving around to get a base. Since I am inexperienced and I was done playing for the day I reloaded the original tune back into the car.

    Once again on first startup the car shows running lean and it does not appear to go into close loop any longer. I tried copying the main VE table from the speed density tune to the original tune but it does not appear that the changes made had any effect. Would appreciate any help available. This is my first post since purchasing the HPTuners package, I've attached both the speed density and original configs.

    Did you do a write entire after you selected the 2 bar upgrade? I don't see a boost ve table. Your water temp has to be over 131 degrees before it will go into closed loop. Your ve table is flat as a board, don't think it has been tuned. I see a boost table in the original 2 bar file?? It is flat also. Confused about what tune is in the car. P0101,102,103 need to be MIL on first error to put in to speed density. The second tune is not like that. Didn't look at the first one. Yeah, it is wrong also.

    The tune is set to not go into closed loop.

    Oh... only looked at one tune.... it is set ok in the newer one.

    Looked at the other tune.... the open loop tables are set to 10.0 and I am pretty sure you meant them to be 1.0.
    Start by fixing that and see how it goes.

    The factory E40 tune uses some of the open loop tables at 10 and some of them at 0.1 so it ends up at 1.. weird, but that's how GM does it for those. Can change it to 1/1 if you want, same thing in the end

    Wow. that must be only E40's .... never saw that before. But regardless, in one tune posted its 1.0 and the other 10.0. Must make a difference ?

    see attached example of boosted E40.

    LS2 manual 67mm single. 630rwhp pump fuel.

    have a look how PE and BE are set up.E40 2 bar sample.hpt
