My biggest concern is being able to tune for cable throttle,and are the pinouts different
I believe your 2000 has a 9354896 PCM and from what I have read, it will suopport an 0411 OS like the 12212156 which has the single VE table...Not 100% sure so hope someone with experience in this swap chimes in. They all support DBC and DBW as well. If so, then a write entire is needed with a donor file from the repository or GM Tech II at dealer....but make sure it is a pure stock file....you will have to relicense as well.

Was sitting here thinking,is it possible to just install the OP system I'm looking for into my ecm?
Yes, that is what I believe, but was hoping someone who has actually performed that swap would chime in just to be sure....
