    Tuner dude wanted

    Are you an experienced automotive dyno technician who has a passion for working with the latest technology while tuning high performance and custom cars. Blackdog Speed Shop has an immediate opening at our brand-new facility with a fully enclosed dyno test cell running the latest, state-of-the-art Dynojet 424XLC2 4-wheel drive automotive dynamometer. The Dyno Technician will test, analyze and tune a wide range of vehicles, many which will be modified from stock.
    ? Prepare vehicles for dynamometer testing and drive vehicles into the test cell... Connect vehicle to test cell systems and operate test controls
    ? Organize, maintain, and track the inventory of the test equipment (instrumentation, dynamometers, process control, etc); ensure that the test equipment is calibrated and working properly
    ? Execute tests; ensure completed test results are to specification. Ensure the accuracy of test data; provide technical support to aid in troubleshooting issues.
    ? Tune vehicles to optimize their performance
    ? Archive, manage and update raw test data and test run logs.
    ? Maintain the test cell area in a neat, clean and organized fashion
    ? Standardize and recommend procedures to improve efficiency
    ? Promote Blackdog Speed Shop and its dyno tuning capabilities across the entire spectrum of high performance vehicles including domestic and foreign, cars and trucks
    Minimum 3 years of automotive mechanical experience.

    FYI the shop is a couple of miles away from HPTuners and next to an Illinois emissions station.

    Dude or dudette, it doesn't matter to us and not putting the address in the ad was an unintended bonus. More info about us - we are a 4 time Pirelli World Challenge championship winning team with 2 new ZL1 Camaro's, we build high end pro touring cars and do performance modifications on everything from Vettes to Subbies to Audi R8's.

    I watch you guys on PWC. You have a kick ass driver. Field looks to be a tough one this year. There are a lot of good teams. I always wonder why you guys don't do IMSA. Stevenson shut down and the Camaro is AWOL. I wonder who bought the cars? GT4 is killer right now.
