That doesn't make any sense.
Just running a scan won't cause it to run lean.
What exactly are you doing?
What is the exact setup you are working with? Are you trying to tune it and the changes you are making are causing this problem?
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.
If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
I used to see something like that on occasion. When the scan was looking all wonky I would drive for about 10 minutes, restart the scan, and everything looked ok again.
