    Read Issues (Reading ECM Causes DTC's)

    Everytime I read my 2013 Cadillac CTS-V ECM i get these codes:

    P0606: ECM/PCM Processor, and P0607: Control Module Performance

    I clear the codes and get a permanent code that goes away after a couple of drive cycles. I can flash anytime I want and never an issue. It's only anytime I read it.

    Why?

    P.S. It's not voltage related. I have the correct voltage at rest. Already verified that.

    The same thing happens to me on a 2007 TBSS. Only P0606 though, I'll have to check and see what version I'm running.

    I too recieve a similar fault that occurs after reading. Havent tried just whimfully flashing... kinda goes against the hpt ways of thought.
    I have a burrito in my colon, yet refried beans come out...
    How i know it's from the same meal? I didn't ingest corn any other time.

    Why do you keep reading it?

    I read it periodically to have a fresh baseline in case I need to revert to it.
