2.8 colorado tuning engine power is reduceed

I made a tune for my truck and now getting a "Engine power is reduced" message on the dash. It doesnt seem like it reduced power at all. The tune makes a lot more power and is fun to drive. I am still learning diesel tuning and trying to figure it out. I feel like i have to change something in the Engine diagnostics tab under airflow but not sure. He is the tune and the stock tune.

Sorry should have said that. You need to have the newest beta download to read it.

I figured out that there is something weird with the trans tune after I transferred it from my computer to the laptop. It doesn’t shift right and I think that is part of what is causing the error. If I just do the engine tuning it doesn’t have a problem and doesn’t give me the reduced power notification.

Stevo you think that could be the issue. The engine tune seems to work fine and doesn’t give me the error. It seems like it is in the trans tune. I am not positive though.

I don't have beta so I can't see everything you can but I would try modifying your trans tables one at a time to see if rep shows up again. Then you'll know.

In trans modules it usually has to do with adjusting tqm the wrong way or overlapping upshift and downshit points causing tcm confusion and this rep.

I seem to have figured out a tune that works without causing a problem. The truck makes more power, better to grive, and seems to get better MPG. If you have any advice on making it better let me know. Thanks.

For the REP guys, if you've maxed out your speed limiter(s), try moving it back a few.
