    2006 Z06 E38 8192 RPM Limit

Can anyone get past the 8192 rpm in a 2006 E38? When I hit 8192 rpm it goes into reduced power mode. Please PM me if you can, I do not mind paying for this if someone can do it.

    Thank you.

I'm not 100% sure but if I'm not mistaken I believe it's a resolution area to where the ECM is not able to read the crank signal at that level. If I'm wrong please somebody chime in and let me know but I believe that's what I had heard a while back from a master tuner.

Im not actually going past it under power but when shifting if I dont let off quick enough it will bump 8192 and shut the car off.

Can't you just lower the rev limter to 8050 or 8100 so it does not hit the max of 8192?

This way it won't shut the car off.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Have rev limiter at 8,000 rpm already. It still every now and again will still bump 8192 rpm shutting car off.
