ctsv 2.55" pulley and intake on stock injectors

first wot.hpli accidentally posted this on the gen 3 page...sorry.

Hi guys, I just purchased hptuners and i did a log to see where my missing is coming from. My car was tuned in texas (warm weather) and i'm only getting missing when it's cold out (high 30s and below). Being on stock injectors i thought i was running lean but according to my log i'm not anywhere near 100 IDC. Could this be spark plug blow out? i'm gapped at .028" currently. I don't have a wide band hooked up currently, but i'm ASSuming that my commanded AFR matches my actual, which is low 11s. Any suggestions as to why this miss/dip in power is happening?? thanks!

FYI the miss is right around 3800 rpms

Seems that my throttle closed slightly around that 3800 rpms. That's right around where my SD is disable and the maf takes over. Does the car go into maf only mode at WOT? Sorry i'm new to this so i apologize for stupid questions

Need to log MAF state and should tell you when its coming on I would thin?. Also not logging B2 injectors. Log dynamic Airflow. You can also log misfires(current and history). 13lbs of boost shouldn't be blowing out spark. Doubt that is it.

you might want to try disabling the ve and running maf only in the dynamic air flow tab ,, see how it performs

If it performs flawlessly then could it be my VVE tables aren't tuned correctly?

thanks... so that seemed to fix my problem..even though it is quite a bit warmer today than the last time i went WOT. So i logged the WOT pull and now i've noticed i'm getting almost 7* of KR....it also looks like i'm only at 12-13 degrees of advance in the upper rpm band. Any thoughts??

Looks like it might be a little on the lean side - mv's drop into the 800's then slowly go back into the 900's, but very low 900's... Plus the knock sensors on these are a little on the sensitive side, but don't mess with any of that until fueling is correct...

Again lean - high 800mv's on the O2's Makes me wonder if it was ever really tuned on full boost?

Just looked at the tune a little more - your PE is hacked, ramp-in rate lowered???, and even delay in place... I can tell your air models aren't right just from that...

Comparing his posted tune to a box stock ctsv tune, very little if anything is changed.

i was JUST about to ask if my tune looks like it was a "PE RAPED" tune..i noticed the PE eq ratio graph and it's very jagged, ups and downs...i always thought that it should be pretty flat aside from maybe a ramp up in higher rpms.

Great...i was thinking about trying to tune maf only since i have heard a good amount of success going that route

I apprciate you guys taking the time to look at this tune...now the question becomes what to do next?

Temporary richen up the PE table to see if that gets rid of my KR?? i'm planning on getting a WB soon so i can start tuning WOT, but that isn't going to happen immediately...

    Any thoughts/opinions will be appreciated!
