    Drain fuel tank

    2012 camaro ls3 need to drain the fuel tank what would i use in 3.6 to have the fuel pump run with just key on

    On my truck I just hoom up to the Schrader valve on the fuel rail and let it idle till it runs out

    go to diagnostics (just like when you need to reset LTFT) Under fuel tab command fuel pump on

    i think in the scanner turning on the pump just does its normal prime time and thats it, i usually just put say 180 seconds in the prime time and flash then just turn key on, just dont let it run dry u can kill the pumps real easy

    On my truck I just hoom up to the Schrader valve on the fuel rail and let it idle till it runs out
    I worked on a fuel test program where we had to drain and refill 20 cars, three times a day. This is how we did it. Never hurt a fuel pump. Some GDI cars would throw a low fuel pressure code, but that's it.
