You are in the Diesel section (I'm assuming the 2.8 isn't diesel)
I found the tutorial in this link to be a very good guide that should adapt to your platforms, and they will answer questions you submit.

Actually, the 2.8 is a 4 cylinder turbo diesel, in the new Colorado/canyon. That's why I posted in the diesel section.
