2017 Focus ST

I have one of these at the shop, I will be completely honest haven't tuned an ecoboost in a couple years... I've looked over some stuff in the forum but it seems these are so different I'm not sure what info translates over. This car seems way different than the last ecoboost I tuned (in a truck). What are some things to stay away from? This is a bone stock manual trans car. Is there still some quick basics to gain some power and "pep" to these motors...?

The newer generation of ecoboost ecu isn't actually that different from the first generation. There are some differences, and some more controls, but the general ideas still apply.

Checkout these threads, they should at least get you started. Once you get into it if you're running into specific issues feel free to ask about those. The best general tuning guide is still metroplex's that's geared towards the 11-14 ecu.
