This car is acting very weird. It locks the converter immediately on the 2-3 shift. This makes the shift feel very flat for about 2 seconds, then it unlocks and starts to pull like normal again.
It's not something internal to the trans, or wiring, because if I use the scanner to command the TCC OFF, it will make repeated 2-3 shifts no problem and pull hard the whole time. No slip, no issues.
But when I don't use the scanner to command the TCC off...and just let the pcm do it's thing...it tries to lock the converter again.
I've attached the tune file...can anyone try to look it over and tell me why the hell it would try to lock the converter right on the shift, then unlock it after about 1.5 to 2 seconds?
