    Dodge FWD - Any updates on getting the 62TE options available?

    The 62TE in Dodge FWD's have been out for a while now and is used in various applications. Why would the 4speed Automatic and the Manual transmission be available to tune in a Dodge Avenger but not the 62TE?

    Yeah, it's annoying as hell not being able to set VLP or shift points. Still no progress 4 years later. Guess HPT doesn't want money. I know plenty of people that would buy it if it could do transmission tuning. Maybe they are scared because it has a reputation for early failures? Much of that is due to improper maintenance though. If your shifting lags, change your fluid and filter and it will usually improve substantially.
