Hi all,
just looking for some feedback on my work so far.
Vehicle is 2005 VZ ss 5.7lt commodore 6 speed manual.
3.9 diff gears
OTR running MAF sensor
cam specs are , 225/232 @590 112.5lsa
25% under drive pulley kit
full exhaust system with headers.
All LTFT and STFT are within 5% at the moment and AFRs are pretty good, will post a log up in the next day.
only issue i am having is driving at low speed with clutch in coming to a stop it will stall out, not all the time though.
otherwise the vehicle has very good driving manners all round.
any input would be greatly appreciated.
I usually find with the manuals setting throttle cracker to 2 and 3 or 5 and 7 and disabling rolling idle to work best for me.
with the manuals I find how I get it to work with a cam is a small airbleed like 3.5-4.5 mm in the TB blade. I get it to idle on about 8-11 degrees at idle and then use additional timing to help it when its cold or if the RPM dips as such. I also remove timing from the idle tables in the area where it may "rev hang"
by looks of it your idle is near 20deg warm. adding 10 degrees to it at 20 wont have the desired effect to help it recover or stabilize. how ever adding 10 deg from 8 base degrees will certainly have that effect.
see attached as example. excuse that its cable throttlefinal 395rwhp.hpt
