    any one have the vct just start dis abling its self ?

    I have a customer who put a new ford racing motor part # m-6006-m50a1 which is a 15+ motor with the 11-14 phases that are supposed to make it compatible with 11-14 mustangs car runs ok but once in 1/2 throttle or more the vct disables car bucks has low power any ideas what would cause that

    You really need to post a log and a tune file to get meaningful help.

    Have you changed the cams as well?

    tune is stock and the motor is rite out of the crate no mods just a cai which needs no maf cal

    Do you have a log and tune?
    It could be the intake cam ay half throttle trying to advance further than 20* which is the limit for s550 phasers so it disables. Stock first gen will call for ivo 40* advanced.

    Are you using the 11-14 cams or the 15-17 cams?

    You can't use Gen 2 cams with Gen 1 PCM - Gen 2 cams rotates one complete revolution more between banks. Gen 1 cyl banks are like ~60' apart and Gen 2 banks are like ~400' apart.

    You can try to re-set the timing chains manually for Gen 1 or you can try those settings but not sure it will work this way.
