    MPVI Updated Interface Box?

A little off topic for whats important.

But I wonder if you guys have any ideas in the works of changing out the current cabled MPVI box with a smaller bluetooth model? Reason I ask is because alot of other car tuning companies are now starting to use smart phones and little bluetooth odb2 modules now.

My MPVI ........ to cut a long story short my USB port on the tablets a bit dodgy now after all these years from plugging it in and out so many times....... if it was bluetooth that would work. Bluetooth emulates whatever you need to, so the software side of things wouldn't need to change, you would just need to connect up the ODB2 device so it attaches the serial connection as such.

My two cents...... I'm looking to see if I can make my existing one a Bluetooth connection so I dont have to plug it in anymore. Should work.......... if I find a bluetooth USB hub.

Yes, existing can transfer. Please wait until further information is released and you understand the planned feature rollout before upgrading.

I noticed universal credits are now available, so no more credits specific to make?

MPVI will still be restricted to GM/Ford/Dodge. MPVI2 will use Universal Credits.

I assume there will be a list of compatible platforms...? Since we are now wireless I assume we will also be diskless too...? I just picked up a MS Surface today and just by coincidence found out about MPVI2 like 15 minutes ago. And truthfully haven't done much research on it yet.

Edit: Actually read the page and if I'm correct now I just kinda look like a dummy

    Yes
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
