    idle wont drop

    so its a zl1 with cam i cant seen to get the idle to drop very quick to 850. it hangs at 1000 for to long. what am i missing??whitefix 1.hpt
    take a look at it

    You might have too much idle airflow

    set your idle airflow values to stock.

    set your VSS target idle rpm values to match your main target and startup idle speed target tables so they correlate.

    idle timing will help but not as much as airflow with ETC gen4. you can also trick it with ETC area scaler and tell it it has a bigger TB than it does. sometimes that works.

    i forgot to say its a stage 3 texas speed lsa cam i cant run stock idle air takes forever to start .

    change your start up airflow then and leave your base values stock to see if it solves your problem. idle air is the base global value.

    car starts great when cold and holds 1200 the 1050 then 1000 and then just holds for 3min then drop to 850 were i want it. does this every to its started i have dropped timing and airflow.

    multiply your start up flare control spark table by 2

    take 30% from your start up airflow table.

    zero your piston slap and catylist heating spark tables.

    change the MAF S/S stepdown delay to 0seconds
