    Optimal fuel milage

    i have a 72 scout and i just put a 5.3L out of a 01' tahoe in it.
the motor is almost completly stock, the only things that are different are that i have a cone filter instead of an air box and ls1 exhaust manifolds for clearance.

I just got hptuners as well so i am new to tuning but i have had a little time to play with it. Anyway i will be making a 1500 mile trip on 8/2 and wanted to know what i could do to increase the fuel milage. Even at the expense of power, i dont mind every little bit will help.

    Thanks
