I had to re-register, pick a ridiculously long password, and then import my interface serial and activation keys.

You will have to create a new account on the new website.

Existing accounts were not ported over.

Honestly it's really stupid for customers to have to re-register just because your website has been redone. Also the repository should have been linked to as soon as the new site was up. Bad planning and bad business.

    Disappointed customer.

go to your devices, your newest application key is listed right there front and center...
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I hear you, but there was no realistic way to migrate our existing system to the new. The primary login method had changed from serial # to email address. We also now allow you to view all of your interfaces under a single account, instead of separate accounts and passwords for each interface you own.

It's a similar situation with the repository, the system we use was written a very long time ago and it is taking some time to make it work with the new system. We took a decision to launch the website without it, that's just the way it goes. It will be back online as soon as possible.

Of course we wanted everything to be as seamless and simple as possible, but our original website was written in 2004! Many things have changed and dragging almost 15 year old systems into the future is not so easy.

    I hope you understand.

    UPDATE:

I found the app key under Device on the website. No key came through email which is just as well since yahoo mail can be slow.

I just bought credits, how do I get a new application key? The old website I could resend it.

I got emails for receipt of purchase just no new key.

The fail here is unbelievable. And the new password requirements are bullshit. It's a freaking tuning product, not a bank or credit card account. I'm seriously through buying or downloading shit here. Don't need it.

It's under "my devices", they don't seem to email you the new key anymore, it just automatically updates on your MPVI's product key section. Copy and paste it into VCM editor and you will have your new credits available.

Be glad they didn't implement 2-factor authentication...

A heads up email to purchase your credits in the event of disruption would have been nice. A discount would might even sparked a few extra sales.

There have been multiple threads on this forum where we've suggested over and over to always have a few credits on hand in case of disruption. In any event the website was up and functional within 24 hrs and is working fine now.
