OK! Remember from class that we liked the mass air tune-up. Where am I going to reset those fuel trims? disconnect battery?

Coonect the scanner to your vehicle, open the VCM Controls, select the Fuel tab and click on the Reset Fuel Trims button. This resets the fuel trims.

I had a class in Austin back in May. I have plenty of openings at the Las Vegas class coming up in November. There will most likely be another Austin TX class next spring.

haven't read all of this thread so i may be asking a repeated question. When taking these classes is there anything we as student need to provide other than money and us? our laptops with software? obviously pen and paper?

I pretty much take care of it all for you. I provide a binder with a hard copy of the class slides for you to take notes in and I'll even lend you a pen if you need it. It is not necessary to bring your own laptop to the class since I have all the software necessary for the live demos. Heck, I even provide lunch! All I ask is that you show up ready to learn.

Just want to chime in and say this was a great class to attend (Josh from LSE).

Well worth the $$, Greg is a phenominal teacher on this subject.

eficalibrator- Can you post the dates again or email them too me. [email protected] I want to know locations and cost. I work pretty well with computers and have a simple idea of tuning. I just want to be considered a ""Tuner"" because from what I see and hear they are really lacking these days. I currently have Bigstuff3 on my 04 GTO and have played with HPT.

Fatal Performance in Houston Texas would be the company.

I want to be able to tune HPT, EFI Live, FAST, Diablo, Bigstuff3 so I have alot of traveling to do to get the training.

Just advise via email. I should have atleast 3 people along with the owner of Fatal Performance comming.

I've been trying to keep up with individual requests and questions via PM or email to avoid clogging this thread too much. Please let me know if I haven't answered any specific questions. As Bill mentioned, I try to keep my website up to date with the current class schedule.

I currently work as an OEM calibrator and teach classes for shop owners through one of the dyno manufacturers. I have a book on engine tuning coming out early next year that features the HP Tuners software (Thanks, Kieth!) among others that covers calibration on a wide variety of systems and cars. I will be opening up some local classes to the public, anyone interested?

    Upcoming Classes:
    June 23-24 Lexington, KY
    August 11-12th Los Angeles, CA
    September 15-16th Cleveland, OH
November 3-4th Las Vegas, NV (SEMA)
    December 4-5th Orlando, FL (PRI)
Shoot I might have to make a road trip with a few friends to the Vegas tuning class.
