In the MPVI2 Feature FAQ A4 says that at initial release the bluetooth will work with windows device to scan and VCM reading only. I just opened up my mpvi2 about an hour ago and I'm trying to figure the bluetooth out but not having any luck lol I wish they would have posted some instructions somewhere for connecting the bluetooth.

Is there a side by side comparison of what is a STANDARD vs PRO feature of the MPVI2?

This kind of post is what makes me think twice about ever buying HPTuners. You have two customers in this forum saying they are having problems with getting bluetooth on your new product, who begin to second guess whether it's a standard or pro feature. You make a post clarifying it's included in standard but don't offer any help or direction, terrible customer service.

We released a new firmware version yesterday that appears to fix the issue with some customers having issues seeing the BT connection as was posted here https://forum.hptuners.com/showthrea...l=1#post529953

If you are having issues with your hardware/software I would recommend emailing support.

Just wondering if you have an ETA on a new round of upgrades? And maybe the expander hub, I'm sure a lot of people are wanting for that hub before they upgrade. Also I've been trying to understand pricing because so many people ask the same question, but different ways. If I upgrade my mpvi pro to the mpvi2 for $190, the mpvi2 pro software is a free download when it is released? Am I correct in this?

No ETA on expander hub. Same software for mpvi1 & mpvi2 customers. Both free

So if their the same software, when I upgrade is there anything new to download? Or will it be seamless, so when I open the box, plug in and register the pod, I can just continue on my merry way?

Why does nothing have an eta? Seems odd you'd stop selling v1 and halfheartedly release v2 which doesn't even have an eta on the hub expander which most users will want.

If I have a standard mvpi can I sell it with the credits and just buy new mvpi2 and purchase new credits. My car only requires 2 credits. 2016 Camaro 2SS. Would it cost $400 total?

Brian, it's two credits for the ECM, another 1 credit for the FPCM if needed too. The MPVI2 is on backorder, I have some on order and will have one available as soon as they ship. Just let me know.

Thanks Veee8. So I can sell my current one to a friend and the remaining credits and just get the new unit and purchase 3 credits? I don't have FPCM registered just ecm. Why would I need to buy FPCM?

You don't, you'd only license the FSCM if you wanted to tune it, I would say only about 10% of our user base actually tunes them, possibly less.

If you sell your old one, be sure to give the buyer access to the HPT account it's registered to, else they bought a paper weight.
