I have the CCM304 licensed for my 2015 C7 Z51 but I have no NPP controls. The only thing I can do is disable the AFM DTC's. Are there plans to add NPP control or is this only for newer models?
NPP refers to the valves (not AFM valves) in the GM exhaust for Camaros and Corvettes that allow you to change it from Tour, Sport, Track modes. Exactly what the OP is posting about in this thread. 2014+ Corvettes and 2016+ Camaro's use these new NPP valves that work by electric motor, controlled by the CCM, rather than vacuum controlled.
So my question was basically how come I can't modify this on my 2015 C7?

Good news - I have located the controls for Corvette/ATS-V guys. Will be available in the beta sometime next week.
2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing (733 whp)
2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing (716 whp), 10.750 @ 134.77 mph
2016 Cadillac ATS-Vs (eleven ATS-Vs in the 9s)
2008 Pontiac G8 (first G8 in the 10s), 10.727 @ 129.87 mph
2000 Bonneville SSEi (first 3800 Bonneville in the 10s), 10.711 @ 125.71 mph
1999 Grand Prix GT (first 3800 FWD in the 8s), 8.902 @ 154.90 mph
1998 Firebird (first 3800 RWD in the 8s), 843 whp, 8.991 @ 152.12 mph
1998 Grand Prix GTP (first 3800 FWD in the 10s), 9.499 @ 145.13 mph
For the C304 guys, please download VCM Suite 4.1.062 beta from the website and give it a try.
Would appreciate a log showing the Exhaust Valve pids while driving:
Exhaust Valve Open Range
Exhaust Valve Closed Range
Exhaust Valve Gear Lookup
Exhaust Valve Performance Mode
Exhaust Valve Status
Exhaust Valve Open Threshold
Exhaust Valve Closed Threshold
Exhaust Valve Enabled
Exhaust Valve Start Rumble Active
Very much appreciate you adding the exhaust baffle parameters. However, I cannot seem to locate them anywhere within beta version 4.1.62 for 2016, 2017 or 2018 Cadillac ATS-Vs. I scanned every page, and have done searches for the words ‘exhaust’, ‘baffle’ and ‘valve’. Should there be an Active Exhaust section on the System > General tab?Originally Posted by Engineer@HPT
The latest version I get is 4.1.23 when using the auto update under the "about" tab. But when I downloaded from the site the version was 4.1.62. I'll give this a try and see if I can datalog those PIDs tomorrow. However, I only see 5 PIDs rather than 9.
Exhaust Valve Open Threshold
Exhaust Valve Closed Threshold
Exhaust Valve Status
Exhaust Valve Enabled
Exhaust Valve Start Rumble Active
Also, the exhaust valve settings in HPTuners is very ambiguous. 12 different modes by what I can only guess is gear?

Newest beta (4.1.064) should fix the missing 4 PIDs. Those 4 parameters will help identifying which table, row and column you need to adjust. Once I get a log from one of you, I can label the axes better.
Exhaust Valve Gear Lookup will identify the row (0-12) used in the Exh Valve Close and Open tables.
Exhaust Valve Performance Mode will identify which mode the car is using in the Exhaust Rumble Enable table, as well as Exh Valve RPM Thresholds.
Finally, Exhaust Valve Open Range and Close Range Lookups will identify the column in the RPM Thresholds table, which is then used for the Valve Close/Open tables.
FYI, still don't have any additional PID's in VCM Scanner Beta Version 4.1.64. I have the same PID's as I did in 4.1.62. I'll still take a datalog today after work.
I'm still missing those 4 PIDs on my car (2016 Camaro SS) on the latest 4.1.64 beta.
