    VCM Suite v4.0 Now Available

    VCM Suite v4.0 Now Available

HP Tuners presents VCM Suite v4.0, the latest software specifically designed for our new MPVI2
is now available for download via our website, or here. We have included many updates in this
release ranging from newly supported vehicles (internet connection required), updated definition
support with more parameters available, additional controller functions and a wider range of
    scanning abilities and functionality.

The newly supported vehicle platforms list for VCM Suite v4.0 with MPVI2 is quite extensive, and
will continue to grow over the coming weeks and months. These new platforms today include
Nissan, Infiniti, Mercedes, Audi, VW, Range Rover, Jaguar, Dodge 2018, GM 2019, Ford 2018
& Ford EEC-V. Note these new platforms will require an internet connection to reprogram the
vehicle, while some platforms (Mercedes) require a PCM Mod Service for the first reprogram
to occur. For more information, and to view the latest supported vehicles list, click here.

Please note, while VCM Suite v4.0 is designed for the MPVI2 it is still fully compatible with the
previous generation MPVI Pro and Std interfaces, however the new vehicles platforms are not
    supported.

Thank You from the entire HP Tuners Team for all your ongoing support, and please ensure you
follow us on our social media channels for all the latest updates!!

So am I correct in seeing that 2019 GM vehicles will require an MPVI2 and will not be supported with the older MPVI interface even with 4.0 software?

2019 GM vehicle support released thus far is applicable to both interfaces.

Ok I'll get an MPVI2 for ZR1 support later.

The addition of the Nissan/Infiniti support is huge - the current only available options are antiquated or very limited in vehicle support. Its very encouraging to see the HP Tuners is support the vast amount of vehicles/years listed.

    Question:
The 2007-2009 Nissan Fuga VQ25HR and VQ35HR - The VK45DE was also an available engine in this year range as well. For the US market this car was the Infiniti M45 (or M35 with the VQ35 motor). The VK45DE is identical on sensors as the VK56DE motor. Will the support for the Fugu/M45 be an option?

What about new applications like Nissan, will they work with MPVI-1 or are they exclusive to MPVI2 ?

Ford, GM and Dodge applications listed still work on the MPVI. All other vehicle releases are MPVI2 only.

    Outstanding.
    You guys rock.
Stupid question, is it stable enough to put into production environment? Assume it is. But we all know what assuming does.

    Another question.
Does this release include a firmware update for the MPVI-1 units? I still use old 2.24 for some cars and I want to keep using it.

Quick question, can a file I have edited and updated with the MPVI2 and 4.0 be accessable (open, edit and resave) by a customer on his end using an MPVI (legacy) and version 3.6 software? I ask only because there was a difference between the previous production releases and the active Beta version...they were not compatible. Just want to make sure the MPVI2 element doesn't change the previous public release backwards compatiblity (i.e 3.6 to 3.4)

    Thx,

I figured it out.... It was stuck on a car's profile I was scanning that there is no support for. I changed the profile to a supported vehicle and all is good.

4.0 should be able to open files saved with 3.6 and most older versions of software.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Thanks Bill but I am more concerned whether a file updated with 4.0 can be opened by 3.6....

I just tried.. Once I opened and saved a file with 4.0 on one computer I could not open it with 3.6 or 3.6 beta that I still had on another computer.. Told me I needed a newer version of software..
