I've put a manual in my 04 Tahoe. I'm trying to get the clutch position switch working correctly. I've done a segment swap for transmission and transmission diagnosis tables from a 04 Z06 with the same OS. It seems like you're supposed to have power to two pins in the PCM when the clutch is not applied, one for the truck to start and the other so that the PCM knows the clutch is applied. The circuits are open when you push the clutch. However, if I wire it like that, there is some kind of limiter when I'm applying the clutch. Testing shows that it's only affected by the clutch switch signal wire, not the clutch starter signal wire. I can't drive it like that. I can only drive it by applying constant power to the clutch signal wire as if I were never pushing the clutch. What do I need to change to make this work like it's supposed to?
