    Reader Upload: Invalid Checksum Error

I purchased a 0411 ECU from a Salvage to program as a spare for my race car and when I go to read it I get this error message. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Greg

    ecm is corrupt.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I'm having the same issue on a 2002 Camaro Z28.... The ECM seems to work fine. Could this be a software issue ?

    thanks.

ecm is corrupt, not a software issue on our end.

I'm having exact same issue with every single 5.7 computer I've attempted to read (5 of them so far). My buddy's old mpvi reads and writes them fine...so I can't see how its a corrupt ecu. Plus myself and a handful of others are having same issue seems like we couldn't possibly all have corrupt ecus especially if car runs, logs and comms with old interface.

What is your ticket number? I'll be happy to have one of our engineers look into it further.

I currently have ticket number 140915. I guess I missed email from you guys saying I need to send it back so hopefully that fixes the issue. Thanks for the response Bill.

If it helps I just plugged in another 0411 with 5.3 stock tune in the trans am and it read it. Same comp except for 5.3 vs 5.7 tune.
